Floating Photovoltaic Plant 'Sibelco'

‘Floating Photovoltaic Plant Sibelco Dessel’ is a six-month feasibility study submitted by EDF Luminus around the Microgrid innovator zone. The possibilities and potential benefits of floating solar panels can achieve higher returns compared to panels on land, thanks to the cooling effect of the water. Furthermore, further improvements to the efficiency may be possible through, among other factors, capturing the reflection of the sunlight on the rear of the solar cells.
