Super Smart Charging Hubs (SSCH)

Flanders, Vlissingen & Helsingborg

A Super Smart Charging Hub (SSCH) generates and stores sustainable energy in batteries and electric vehicles (EVs), enabling local charging and discharging of multiple EVs through an Energy Management System (EMS). It helps balance the grid and manage congestion, though this integrated approach is not yet proven.

Support of SMEs
The Super Smart Charging Hubs project aims to enable the uptake of novel super smart charging technologies for 25 SMEs by launching three Living Labs:

in Vlissingen;
in a social housing district in Flanders;
in Helsingborg in a climate-smart mobility house.

Result: more SSCH innovations, more charging infrastructure and less grid congestion.
