Energy Mission Benelux Edition 'Cross-border infrastructures and value chains for a sustainable industry'
Join us for a landmark event in the Benelux region. This is a unique moment in time for our industry, at which key investment decisions need to be taken for an effective energy transition. That is why we are bringing stakeholders from the Benelux and neighboring regions together at Energy Mission 2024 – Benelux Edition, focusing on Cross-border Infrastructures and value chains for a Sustainable Industry.
This conference is a collaboration between the Energy Mission partners EnergyVille, Flux50, POM Limburg and Thor Park together with Benelux Business Roundtable and Benelux Union. It will take place in the afternoon on November 21st at BluePoint Brussels.
Our region is making significant progress to become a sustainable energy and feedstock hub of the future, which is crucial for securing our international economic position, with a resilient industry and advanced connectivity of our harbors.
Cross-border infrastructures and value chains, efficiently linking sources and sinks of electricity, CO2, hydrogen, and other molecules, are the backbone of this unique opportunity. Based on the latest insights from industry and science, the conference will discuss challenges and opportunities for companies and debate specific priority measures to be taken needed to make progress on these infrastructures and investments.
This conference is a call for engagement towards a joint effort by key stakeholders.
In this perspective, it links with the activities of the Belgian and Luxembourg EU presidency on sustainable industry, such as the Antwerp Declaration for the European Green Deal.
