Brand-new headquarters for Luminus. A new chapter for one of our esteemed Flux50 partners.

Luminus has moved to a building on the Boulevard Roi Albert in Brussels. The new headquarters meet the European Nearly Zero-Energy standard, impressively reducing the company’s carbon footprint.

It’s all part of the strategy: to become the preferred energy partner by helping customers reduce their carbon footprint with innovative energy-efficient solutions and renewable energy.

An energy efficient building

With the integration of solar panels, LED lighting and an innovative climate control system, among other things, the renovations allowed the building to become a Passive office building.

Insaver, a subsidiary of Luminus, provided the solar panels on the roof of the building and another subsidiary, ATS Groep, installed the charging points for electric cars and bicycles in the building's underground carpark. The materials were selected with great attention to sustainability.

The location

The location played a key role in Luminus’s choice. The Brussels North train station is only 400 metres away and the nearest metro stop just 250 metres away, making it even easier for employees and visitors to get to the company’s offices in a sustainable way. With this choice of location, Luminus is contributing to improving general mobility and reducing its own carbon footprint.

Office of the future

Just like the Luminus offices in Hasselt and in Liège, the new offices in Brussels will apply the principles of the New World of Work. This working environment is suited to all types of tasks carried out by employees and promotes cooperation, including with colleagues who telework, so as to guarantee an optimal level of service for customers.
