What is ETIP SNET?
ETIP SNET is one of the European Technology & Innovation Platforms (ETIPs) created by the European Commission. It brings a multitude of stakeholders and experts from the energy sector together in pursuit of a vision for 2050: a low-carbon, secure, reliable, resilient, accessible, cost-efficient and market-based pan-European integrated energy system that supplies the whole economy. It believes this system will pave the way to a truly CO2-neutral circular economy. ETIP SNET aims to achieve this vision by guiding Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) to support energy transition in Europe, while maintaining and extending global industrial leadership in energy systems.
