Logigrid: Flux50 and VIL team up for project Logigrid
Logigrid is a project aimed at using smart microgrid technology to create a more sustainable energy consumption for 15 companies in Logistics Park Waasland. This innovative energy project is set to create an energy community that allows these companies to optimize their investments, with lower dependence on the electricity grid.
“Logistics Park Waasland has been a sustainable project from the very beginning. What can we do to become more sustainable and efficient? We could exchange energy generated by wind mills or solar panels. Logigrid takes that one step further, by aligning the energy consumption of the companies involved, to increase sustainability and efficiency.”
