YouPower is the reference in the field of battery technology. We specialise in calculating and installing home batteries and off-grid systems.

A piece of history:
At the beginning of 2018 we put our heads together with a few friendly entrepreneurs to offer a solution to the ever-increasing energy bill. Each with our own background and specialisation, we tried to find the answer. At the end of 2018, we realised the largest off-grid installation in Belgium. The preliminary study, the complete implementation, the test phase followed by the delivery, everything was implemented by 5 young guys. Since April 2020, the name YouPower has been kept above the baptismal font and we are a company.

Home batteries

home batteries are already known. This private market oriented business helps them to save as much as possible with the introduction of the new smart meter. In the new system, there is no “backwards spinning meter”. This makes it best to consume as much as possible "immediately" or store it in a battery for later. We have the skills to dimension this idealy and we can implement it anywhere with existing or new PV.

Off-grid systems

We have 2 possibilities, depending on the consumption and power. For the consumers who still have enough of the classic street connection, we have a semi off-grid application where we can choose between electricity from the street or from the off-grid installation. Another possibility is the full off-grid with emergency generator, for the larger consumers.

We all want to help and think about green energy. If this is also possible in a clear earning model that saves a great deal, we will have a lot of people on board. The question should only be by how many years YouPower has accelerated the energy transition. Rules can inhibit innovation but never stop it.
