Zero Emission Solutions bv is a study and consultancy firm in the field of sustainable energy, based in Aalst. Zero Emission Solutions assists its clients, mainly companies but also public authorities, government institutions and clusters of different partners, in the search for sustainable (energy) solutions. 

On the one hand, this involves registering and monitoring the client's carbon footprint, assisting the client in the sustainable purchase of energy (green electricity, but also green redemption of purchased natural gas and fuel oil), developing renewable energy or CHP projects, sustainable mobility and energy efficiency in buildings and processes. 

Zero Emission Solutions works according to the principle of the Trias Energetica, giving priority to energy efficiency:

Founded in 2009 by energy expert Alex Polfliet, Zero Emission Solutions has carried out dozens of studies on the energy market and climate neutrality. It has so far supported more than 1,000 MW of renewable energy production and provides energy procurement advice to a total customer portfolio of more than 1 TWh of electricity and more than 1.5 TWh of natural gas. 

Zero Emission Solutions Facts: 

• They already have carried out some 250 energy audits and supervised several energy coaching projects for a wide variety of customers.
• They have already assisted some 65 municipalities, cities and provinces in drawing up an SE(C)AP of the Covenant of Mayors (CoM)
