Ecowijk La Gantoise

Bopro Sustainable Investments is running the ‘Ecowijk Gantoise Multi-Energy Cooperation’ 6-month feasibility study in the Multi-Energy Solutions innovator zone. It is investigating the feasibility of total CO2 neutrality for regulated and non-regulated consumption of heat and electricity in the 'Ecowijk Gantoise' residential development in Ghent. In order to keep the sustainable neighbourhood affordable for the residents and the developer (social sustainability), the study is looking at a full-service ESCO model including community cooperation.
