Integration of a high temperature heat transformer in a thermally optimised company

A ‘High-Temperature Heat Transformer’ was the subject of the six-month feasibility study by Sweco, QPinch and Kuraray – EVAL in the Europe Energy Harbors innovator zone. The business case and technical feasibility study examined the possibility of turning residual heat into steam via a heat transformer. This installation has the potential of improving the total energy-efficiency of processes used by a chemical company.
